A much needed update

A Very Much Needed Update. Hopefully people will actually see this post and not have completely given up on any chance of a blog update..... Life is just SOOOO busy, working full time, running around with the kids, doing errands, visiting with friends and family...who has time to blog?? OK, I am making time now.... so I've been off for four days with the kids and have some updating to do. Forget about the summer, camping, our trip to the States and Halloween...here's what we've been doing for the past 4 days...I absolutely LOVE spending time with these two little munchkins...they are busy little beavers....and they are changing and growing up EVERY DAY!!!

Our 7th Anniversary

Scott and I celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary on June 21st. I can't believe how time flies! It seems like not long ago we were getting married on a day it poured rain ALL DAY...what a beautiful day it was. I would love to relive it for 1 day. And to think of how far we have come...with 2 amazing children, it's hard to imagine life any diffrent than it is now. I wouldn't trade it for anything! It was so nice to celebrate the day together on a sunny golf course and then we took the kids out for dinner and celebrated with our little family...a perfect day!!!

Sienna's 2nd Birthday

Some highlights of Sienna's 2nd Birthday.....lots of friends and family, a beautiful sunny day, a bouncer and playground for the kids and hot dogs and cake for everyone!!!

Our Little Soccer Star

Brody's first year of playing soccer! Personally I was very excited for this moment. Soccer runs in our blood since we are from Holland and I played it as a little girl myself as well as when I was older. Brody is 3 1/2, so some days he loves it and others he would rather pick the grass off the field...but as long as he has fun most of the time...I'm happy!!

A Weekend in Banff

We spent a nice weekend in Banff with great friends (and family). It was a nice little getaway from the city and fun for the kids too!

Brody's first trip to the Dentist

Today was Brody's first trip to our dentist, Dr.Love. (i know it sounds more like he should be a marriage counselor, but he is a REALLY GOOD dentist) Mommy went first, so he had to be patient and wait for 45 minutes while I had my cleaning and check up. That way he could also 'check it out'. He was anxious to get in the chair when it was his turn...

NO CAVITIES...and a new CARS toothbrush to take home, woohoo!!

Viva la Mexico!!

We just got back from Mexico last weekend...it was definitely a week in paradise! Scott's mom came with us as well and we all had an amazing time...how can you not with sun, sand and sea? The resort was awesome and there was lots to do with the kids. Brody and Sienna were swimming every day, playing at the resort's playground, and spending all their time with Nanny, Mommy and Daddy...can't wait to go again!!
