Sienna's 1st Birthday

Sienna's 1st Birthday was Saturday June 6. Believe it or not...it snowed! But it was still a great day. Sienna had lots of fun and definitely enjoyed opening cards and eating cake!!

Sienna on the move....

Sienna may have entirely skipped the crawling stage (she is bum scooter) but she has shown a lot of interest in standing and walking in the last few weeks and has now started walking on her own with her little walker. She loves the freedom and stops at any interesting points...to touch the wall or wave at something (like the tv)....

Brother and Sister...always together...

Brody and Sienna love to be together...Sienna is always laughing at Brody's sillyness and Brody is constantly acting silly to make her laugh. They play together really well...eventhough sometimes Brody may be a little bossy or test the limits and make her cry...he generally loves to make her smile! And seeing them together always makes me smile...

Brody likes to build a fort with Sienna's play-mat!

I love this one...they both think the other looks silly without knowing they both have bubbles on their heads...mommy gets the last laugh...so cute!

A special treat...Brody's ginormous chocolate chip cookie and Sienna's mum-mum( since she kept trying to steal Brody's cookie), hanging out in jammies before bed.

Our New House!!!

Finally...some pics of the progression of our new house in Sherwood....

Our dirt!! This is taken from the back of our lot looking out.

Our hole, with footings!

Foundation poured!

With the first level framed it was really starting to take shape...

Now it is fully framed (this was taken on Friday) YAY!!!
We can actually see a house...it has been a long time coming.....
It will still be a few months before it's done, but it is nice to see some progress!
Now we need to sell our house....keep your fingers crossed for us!!
Oh, and if you know someone looking, send them our way..... :)

Welcome...little girl!

Ralph and Kara had a new little baby girl....her name is Olivia Sanne Deters. She was born on February 27 at 1:30am, weighing 9lbs 5 oz and 56 cm long!! She is proud new addition to our ever growing family! And Sienna is pretty excited to have another little girl to hang around with. It may be a little while before they can play now, but they will have a lifetime to share together! Here are some pics of the newest little Deters'.Olivia peacefully asleep in her swing...precious!

Proud Uncle Scott with the 2 girls!

Sienna looks pretty excited! There is 9 months difference between these 2 and you can definitely see that! Can't wait till they start playing togetether!

Olivia has a bit to catch up to these three!
Before you know it we'll have to try to squeeze in one more little bum into the tub...or maybe we'll have to seperate the boys and girls so there is more room to play!!
