A Weekend in Banff

We spent a nice weekend in Banff with great friends (and family). It was a nice little getaway from the city and fun for the kids too!

Sienna, Brody, Jadyn and Cameron strolling down Banff Ave...

The hotel had waterslides and an indoor playground. It was awesome!

Brody's first trip to the Dentist

Today was Brody's first trip to our dentist, Dr.Love. (i know it sounds more like he should be a marriage counselor, but he is a REALLY GOOD dentist) Mommy went first, so he had to be patient and wait for 45 minutes while I had my cleaning and check up. That way he could also 'check it out'. He was anxious to get in the chair when it was his turn...

(the pics are from my blackberry, so not great quality...)

Good to Go!

He was opening his mouth like a dinosaur...his words...

He did awesome!! Listened very well and really liked the Dentist!

NO CAVITIES...and a new CARS toothbrush to take home, woohoo!!

Viva la Mexico!!

We just got back from Mexico last weekend...it was definitely a week in paradise! Scott's mom came with us as well and we all had an amazing time...how can you not with sun, sand and sea? The resort was awesome and there was lots to do with the kids. Brody and Sienna were swimming every day, playing at the resort's playground, and spending all their time with Nanny, Mommy and Daddy...can't wait to go again!!

Nanny and her grandbabies.

Me and my favorite man....

Brody was all about Nanny while she was here...he barely let her out of this sight!

The pool was definitely the favorite place to be!

Where's the beach?? Let's go!

Christmas is coming...

Brody and Sienna visiting with Santa...Brody was mesmerized, but Sienna was still a little iffy...next year she will be more excited I think....

Last weekend it was our turn to get into the Christmas spirit at the annual Husky Christmas Gala...we always look forward to it! We go with the Gale's and make it a family affair since 3 of us work there. It was fun as usual!!

Four pretty ladies going for a ride in Santa's sleigh...

Brody's 3rd Birthday!!

It has been FOREVER since I made a post...life is just insanely busy. Brody had his 3rd birthday on November 16th and we celebrated with a party at the Leisure Centre. The kids ran around in the jungle gym for an hour and then we had lunch and cake in the room next door. Everyone had a good time, it was fun, the kids blew off some steam and I'm sure all had a good nap when they got home! I would highly recommend this to other parents, especially for the price!!

Brody in the look-out tower.

Natasha and Riley going through the caterpillar tunnel.

Olivia having fun too!

Sienna trying so hard to keep up with her brother!

Of course Opa had to go down the slides with the kids too!

Mini burgers and fries for lunch with b-day cake for dessert...

Time for some presents!

Halloween Pumpkins

Brody was ready to go! He loved carving pumpkins! He drew his own design on his pumpkin and then I cut it out for him...it turned out pretty cool!!

Brody and Sienna checking out our masterpieces...

Having some fun with Halloween masks....they don't even get scared of these masks...
The first time Scott had one on I jumped out of my skin...guess I'm a pansy...
