Halloween Pumpkins

Brody was ready to go! He loved carving pumpkins! He drew his own design on his pumpkin and then I cut it out for him...it turned out pretty cool!!

Sienna has suddenly found some confidence in her walking....she is walking all over the house now....must be the earrings..... OR maybe she was just waiting for Oma and Opa to be back from holidays....

Sienna's Big Day!

We had an appointment today at Merle Norman to get Sienna's ears pierced!!

I was a little nervous, but Sienna had no clue...

She waited patiently and with a little bit of coaxing let the girls mark her ears.
Here the girls are ready to go and I love the look on Sienna's face. She is still smiling and keeping her eye on the girl fiddling with her ear. Sienna did great!

After about 30 seconds of crying and a little snuggle with Mama, she was alright.
As soon as Daddy took her fer a walk into the mall, she forgot about what happened!
When we got back to the truck after lunch she quickly fell asleep after all the excitement!!

Professional Family Pics

We had some professional pictures done of our little family at the end of April.....here they are!

FINALLY........

A long wait, I know, but life is busy with the kids and full time jobs!! We also wanted to get some pictures on the walls before the great reveal!! We still need some window coverings, so imagine red curtains in the dining room and some blinds on the living room window. We are also waiting for a photo collage from Kidsphoto, so that will be on the wall in the front entry. Nonetheless....here is our new house.....

From the the top of the hill behind us, we are the first house in the picture, to the left of us will all be green space! And one more neighbour on the right. We have a pie shaped lot, so it's a bit of an odd shape. Lots of privacy for the hot tub (which is being delivered next week)!!

Sienna's 1st Birthday

Sienna's 1st Birthday was Saturday June 6. Believe it or not...it snowed! But it was still a great day. Sienna had lots of fun and definitely enjoyed opening cards and eating cake!!

The Simple Things in Life...

Toddlers can be entertained with the simplest things and have a blast....oh and so can grown men......!!!

Ralph and Kara came over for dinner Wednesday night and Ralph decided to become "Box Man" He took some empty boxes and made 'costumes', the kids had fun, as did the guys!

House Progress

Our new house is really starting to come together now! We officially take posession on July 3...we can't wait!!

Sienna on the move....

Sienna may have entirely skipped the crawling stage (she is bum scooter) but she has shown a lot of interest in standing and walking in the last few weeks and has now started walking on her own with her little walker. She loves the freedom and stops at any interesting points...to touch the wall or wave at something (like the tv)....
