IT'S A GIRL!! Introducing...Sienna Roseline Gale

We waited and waited, and now she is here, 8 days early!! It's a girl...we are ecstatic...she is beautiful! Sienna Roseline was born Friday, June 6 at 5:04pm. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20.8" long. We are all doing good at home and enjoying very moment. Brody is a proud big brother and protecting her already.

Baby Shower, Sunday May 25

Amy Astle hosted an awesome baby shower for me on Sunday, May 25. I had lots of fun with everyone that was there. We played some fun new games, baby was spoiled with gifts and there was plenty of yummy treats as well as a very good cake!! The pictures speak for themselves!! Kara was the photographer, and she did a very good job!! Thanks to everyone that was a part of my shower!!

Brody is 18 months old!!

Brody is 18 months old already, and we're expecting baby #2 on June 14....crazy!! Time goes by so fast. So many memories already in the last year and a half...I can't even begin to describe the joy, laughter, fun, love, and trouble this little man has brought into our lives. We love him more than words can describe and more than we ever even thought possible!! How will this next baby be??.....

Mother's Day

Family Get Together

Our monthly family dinner had a little more excitement added this time around, since we had some "outdoor fun". The whole family took part, even my and my belly! We raced around on Scott's quad and pocket bike. the little boys thought it was a blast and the big boys of course had their fun too...

Swimming with Daddy

Brody loves to swim! We signed him up for his first formal lessons after I took him to 'Mom and Baby' Aquasize for a few sessions when I was off work. I started the Starfish program with him, but had to pass the duty over to Daddy since my belly and Brody was getting a little too heavy!! Scott loves his time with his little dude in the pool! Brody has passed this class and will be strating the next level after baby is born. Yay for Brody!!

Day at Oma's

Brody loves his days with Oma! Oma often takes him for the day. They play, sing, laugh and even go swimming sometimes. This particular day Brody was enthralled with Nakita, Oma and Opa's dog. They were having a great time! Brody kept getting her a few pieces of food and feeding her, and then going back to get more.

Easter in Edmonton 2008

We visited Brody's cousins Cailey and Ethan again for Easter and the kids had a blast! Brody had fun trying to keep up in the morning Easter egg hunt and was intrigued by everything that was going on. he had fun picking up eggs, but had to take a break when he found a tiny rock on the floor and said "dirty" and proceeded to stop everything, pick it up and put it in the garbage. Only then could he continue with his egg hunt. He was pretty excited to find out the big eggs had little eggs inside too! The kids also had fun outside, going for rides in Ethan's new Jeep, playing street hockey and jumping in puddles. Brody had to borrow some oversized clothes and rubber boots from Ethan, because we didn't exactly bring 'puddle splashing' clothes!! All in all it was a great weekend! Scott even got turkey!!

Prenatal Yoga....Karate?

= Fun Times!!

So I have signed up for prenatal yoga and had my second class last night. It is awesome. I did two full sessions of prenatal yoga when I was pregnant with Brody too, only then I had some friends to go with (Amy and Jenn). I definitely miss that this time around, but it is still sooooo good to go. I feel great after and it really stretches out ALL my tight muscles (pretty much my entire body)...feels amazing! But I seriously cannot help but laugh when we are getting into final relaxation pose after a 1 1/2 hour class and the yoga instructor is really trying to get all us preggers to relax....so I try my best to let go of the day, let my mind wander off, and sink into deep relaxation...when BAM! baby decides to start a karate class...every time! And seriously I am laying inclined on my back and you can SEE my belly move in all directions. I don't think baby wants mommy to relax...either way, I definitely get a 'kick' out of it!! Hee hee....

Getting into Trouble

Brody loves getting into trouble...and you know when it's quiet all of a sudden, trouble is brewing wherever he is....

Helping Mommy

One of Brody's favorite things to do is help mommy. So when I have a day off I love to do things that he can help with. A few weeks back we made rice crispy squares together. He loved helping out and the treat in the end was well worth the wait (for both of us)! I am really trying to enjoy these moments with my little guy, because soon he will have to share his mommy with another precious little one....
